What is the Scholarship Fund?
The Cristo Rey High School Scholarship Fund was established in 2005. Individuals, corporations and foundations are welcomed to make gifts of any amount to the Scholarship Fund. Contributions are immediately applied to those students most in need.
- CRHS exists to provide a college preparatory education to motivated students with limited financial means.
- The annual cost per student at CRHS is $11,000 (2010-2011)
- CRHS is not a tuition-driven school which means we don’t raise tuition to meet our operating needs.
Instead….
All students participate in the school’s unique Work-Study program generating income to pay for approximately 50% of the cost of their education.
- Every family is expected to pay tuition to the full extent possible.
- Every CR school meets their operational needs through fundraising efforts including the Annual Fund, the Scholarship Fund, special events, grant writing, endowment giving and planned giving.
